Declan Rice nominated for PFA Player of the Year

Declan celebrates

Declan Rice has been included on the shortlist for this year's PFA Players' Player of the Year for 2024/25.

Our number 41 has already scooped our Player of the Season and Emirates Goal of the Season trophies after a brilliant campaign in red and white. Declan recorded a career-high of nine goals this season, along with 10 assists in all competitions, and that has seen him recognised by his peers, whose votes have earned him a spot in the top six.

As well as his club awards, the England midfielder was nominated for the Premier League Player of the Year award, while his continental exploits earned him a spot in the Champions League Team of the Year, as decided by the UEFA Technical Observer Group.

Joining him in the top six nominees for the PFA award are two-time winner Mohamed Salah, Cole Palmer, Bruno Fernandes, Alexis Mac Allister and Alexander Isak.

The awards will be decided on Tuesday, August 19, with the ceremony taking place at Manchester Opera House.
