Khayon Edwards has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season award.
Our under-21s forward has scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 17 PL2 appearances this season, as well as another two goals in the recent play-offs.
Consistency has been key for Khayon, who never went more than four games without a goal this season, his best spell coming between October and February when he netted six times in nine matches.
That saw him surpass last seasonโs PL2 tally by three goals, but he also spent a period of 2023/24 on loan at Leyton Orient.
Khayon is going up against Finlay Herrick (West Ham United), Emilio Lawrence (Manchester City), Donnell McNeilly (Chelsea), Hindolo Mustapha (Crystal Palace), Lewis Orford (West Ham United), Callum Osmand (Fulham), and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey (Manchester City).
The winner will be announced at the Premier League Academy Awards evening on Tuesday, May 13.
