Arsenal in the Community has welcomed a new intake of enthusiastic volunteers to the Arsenal Gap Year programme.
The group of will spend the coming weeks learning to coach football and teach English in schools and community projects in north London, before being given the opportunity to apply their new skills to community programmes around the world.
Over the past nine years, participants have contributed to projects in 19 different countries, including Italy, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, Bahrain, Greece and in destinations across Africa.
Applications are still open for the November 2015 intake. It is expected that places will fill quickly, so aspiring coaches should submit their application forms by the end of September.
