Shkodran Mustafi says he was delighted with the reception he got from fans on his debut.
The defender impressed in the Gunners' 2-1 win against Southampton at Emirates Stadium, and he says that perseverance paved the way to victory.

“It was important to play until the end, we know how football is today,” he said. “If you don;t concentrate for 90 minutes, you lose points. We concentrated until the end, and that’s what gave us the winner.
“I’m happy for the three points first of all, but I’m happy for how the supporters received me here and how the team made me feel part of it."
