A tricky central midfielder who is strong on each foot and can play the box-to-box role, Ismail has featured for our academy sides over the last three seasons. Last season he made 19 appearances in all competitions, including all six group games in the UEFA Youth League. Born in the Netherlands, Ismail is also eligible to represent Morocco and has played for their under-20s at youth level. The younger brother of Salah, Ismail is an all-round midfielder who is aggressive, tackles well, has an excellent shot from distance and is a set-piece specialist.
