Our under-18s surrendered a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 away to Norwich City on Saturday.
Dan Casey opened the scoring in the 24th minute before completing his brace from the penalty spot early in the second half.
Lloyd Ofori-Manteaw pulled one back for the hosts in the 69th minute, before Norwich turned the game around with stoppage-time finishes from Rio Mundle and La'Sean Sealey.
WHAT HAPPENED
The first chance fell to Norwich as a cross from the left was headed by Finlay Corke and saved well by Khari Ranson down to his right.
The Canaries had a big chance moments later as Toby Chilvers was picked out in the box by Sealey, but he put his effort straight at Ranson from 10 yards out.
There was a great effort from Louie Copley as we searched for the opener, bending his effort towards the top corner from the edge of the box with his right foot, shooting just wide.
We then took the lead, winning the ball high up the pitch and Casey picking out the bottom corner from the edge of the area.
Norwich came close to equalising from a free-kick as Chilvers took it from just outside the box and Ranson finger-tipped it round the post, making a great save.
Camāron Ismail picked out Casey on the edge of the penalty area and he took a good touch and got his shot on target but it was a comfortable save in the end for Henry Bullen.
With half-time approaching, a deep cross from Mundle looped over everyone and almost flew into the top corner, but the ball went just wide.
There was an early chance for Norwich at the start of the second half as a free-kick from the right was met by Theo Adelusi, but he couldn't keep his header down.
Marli Salmon made a great block to deny Chilvers, who fired a shot towards goal from just inside the box. Our centre-back got down to block it with his chest.
We were awarded a penalty in the 62nd minute when Bullen stopped a cross and it bounced onto the arm of a defender in yellow. Casey stepped up to nestle the ball into the bottom right corner for 2-0.
It didnāt take long for Norwich to respond though, as Mundle cut the ball back from the byline and Lloyd Ofori-Manteaw placed it into the bottom corner.
Ife Ibrahim produced a decent strike from range but it was saved well by Bullen, and it was nearly 3-1 when the Norwich goalkeeper kicked the ball straight into the back of Alex Marciniak, only to see the ball go wide.
Ranson made another big save to deny Sealey from close range, before good pressing at the other end gave Casey a chance to shoot just inside the box, but Chilvers made a good block.
Norwich equalised when Mundle got the ball into the back of the net in the 92nd minute, and Sealey completed the turnaround in the 94th after Daley broke away on the right.
It was nearly 3-3 right at the end but Bullen made a great save to prevent Casey from completing his hat-trick, and then got up to stop the rebound from Teshuan Murisa.
