Arsenal Under-18s had to settle for a goalless draw at home to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Daniel Crowley had Arsenal's best effort of the game just before half-time when he twisted and turned past three West Brom defenders before unleashing a curling shot that cannoned off the crossbar and away to safety.
It was West Brom's turn to be denied by the woodwork midway through the second half. Andre Wright pulled the ball back to George Cleet on the edge of the box and his first-time shot crashed off the same bar that Crowley had hit in the first half.
Carl Laraman's side now have eight points from 14 games but they remain bottom of the Premier Academy League.
