Jordan Nobbs returns to familiar territory this weekend.
Arsenal Ladies travel to Sunderland on Saturday as they look to keep their Women’s Super League title chances alive - and they have a mole in the camp.
Nobbs arrived at the Gunners in 2010 from the Lady Black Cats and has become an important member of Pedro Martinez Losa’s side. And now she is targeting all three points this weekend.
"We are ready to play them and beat them"
“It will be a hard game because it is always hard playing at Sunderland,” she said. “Even when I played for Sunderland, teams struggled when they came to play us, so it will be a tougher game than it was at home.
“Sunderland have had a great season - maybe everyone thought they were going to be the underdogs but they’ve shown what they can do by coming into the top flight.
“They deserve the wins they’ve got. They put in a good performance against us earlier in the year and Beth Mead has been on fire for them this season.
“She has won them a lot of games and will be a threat again this weekend. But we are ready to play them and beat them.”
