adidas has unveiled the Predator 25, the latest iteration of its iconic football boots, combining design elements from its storied past with cutting-edge technology for today’s game-changers.
The bold red upper, inspired by the classic Predator tongue, is complemented by a nod to the Predator Accelerator (1998), featuring wavy black lines interwoven through adidas’ three stripes. The design is rounded out with updated ‘Predator’ branding on the tongue and heel.
Key upgrades include the enhanced STRIKESKIN upper, which improves grip with longer and more numerous rubber elements in the strike zone. HYBRIDTOUCH 2.0 provides a snug, cushioned fit with less break-in time. The fold-over tongue makes a comeback, now with added foam for protection and rubber elements to enhance ball control.
CONTROLFRAME 2.0, introduced last year, continues to offer superior traction, acceleration, and rotational movement, thanks to its lightweight soleplate and external heel counter.
Gunner stars like Jurrien Timber and Alessia Russo will wear Predator 25 on the pitch, available in laced, laceless, and fold-over tongue versions. Priced from £50/€60, the football boots are now available at adidas stores, online and at selected retailers.
