Gabriel Martinelli has been back amongst the goals recently, and that means he has extended his incredible record when netting in red and white.
The Brazilian winger has lit up many matches with his incredible pace and sharp shooting, which led to him quickly becoming a favourite amongst Gooners after arriving from Ituano in 2019.
There have been many memorable moments in red and white for Gabi, including scoring a brace on his full debut against Nottingham Forest, dribbling from his own half to score at Chelsea to win our 2019/20 Goal of the Season, and netting a late winner to beat Manchester City last October.
But one thing is common with all of Gabi’s 47 Gunners goals so far - whenever he’s found the net, he’s never finished the game on the losing side.
Those 47 goals have come in 41 different matches in all competitions, of which we have won 35 and drawn the other 6. And when you compare those numbers across our 137-year history, no other player comes close to matching Gabi’s feats:

Lee Dixon, Perry Groves and Ray Parlour were the previous joint holders of this particular record, all notching up 26 occasions where they had got on the scoresheet without tasting defeat. However, Gabi has raced past them in double-quick time, and continues to stretch his lead.
Looking further down the list, there are a couple of his Gunners teammates who may have eyes on catching that trio of club icons from the 80s and 90s during the upcoming campaign.
Leandro Trossard has strung together a run of 22 matches without losing after he’s found the net, while Kai Havertz could move into second place very soon if his current scoring rate continues. He's won 24 of the 25 games he's netted in, the best record on the list.
However, our electric Brazilian forward continues to race away at the top of the table, and he has now made it into the top five of the Premier League's all-time list.
That is headed by his current club and international teammate, Gabriel Jesus, who has gone an incredible 62 matches in the competition without tasting a loss after finding the net - 15 of those have been since he arrived at Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2022.
Player | Games | W | D | L |
---|---|---|---|---|
Gabriel Jesus | 62 | 57 | 5 | 0 |
James Milner | 54 | 43 | 11 | 0 |
Diogo Jota | 50 | 42 | 8 | 0 |
Darius Vassell | 46 | 36 | 10 | 0 |
Gabriel Martinelli | 34 | 29 | 5 | 0 |
