Emily Fox is an inaugural CONCACAF Gold Cup champion after the US Women's National Team triumphed over Brazil in the final.
Our right-back played the full 90 minutes and set up the only goal of the match with a glorious floating cross to Lindsay Horan, who headed home with the last touch of the first half.

It had been a tight match-up until that moment, with the Brazilians starting brightly before the US grew into the game. Save for an offside goal from USA's Lynn Williams and a few late attempts on Alyssa Naeher's goal, the final never truly took flight and Horan's first-half stoppage-time goal remained the sole breakthrough.
The US are the inaugural Gold Cup winners, though they were victorious in the tournament's previous iteration - the CONCACAF Women's Championship - nine times
