Emily Fox to represent USA at Olympic Games

Emily Fox in action for the US Women's National Team

Emily Fox will make her Olympic debut this summer, travelling to Paris 2024 to represent the US Women's National Team.

Our right-back was selected by Emma Hayes to feature in the 18-player squad, following a successful international window.

Fox has made 48 appearances for the USA, with her senior debut coming in 2018. An ACL injury ruled her out of a spot at the Tokyo Olympics but she has been a consistent fixture in the side since 2021, recently helping the US clinch a seventh SheBelieves Cup with a winning spot-kick against Canada.

Speaking to FIFA.com, Emily looked ahead to the summer: “With every competition we play in, we want to win. With the Olympics, nothing is new there in terms of our standards.

"What’s really exciting this year is we’re going to have a new coach, and then there’s a lot of talented players that are new, that are younger, and I just think it’ll be really exciting.”
