Emily Fox has her first Arsenal goal and first-ever goal in the UEFA Women's Champions League following our 4-1 win over Valerenga.
Barely a minute after kick-off, our American found the net from close range to set us up for victory at Emirates Stadium.
Emily shared her reflections after the full-time whistle and here's everything she had to say:
on the result...
It definitely wasn't pretty, but we got the job done. I think scoring an early goal first and then regrouping in the second half and getting those three other goals was great. I think it was a good one to grow.
on our fast start to the match...
It's been a crazy two weeks. We've played a lot of games and each game has been so important. This was a must-win for us, so we really wanted to win, especially after the Chelsea game. I felt like we found ourselves within 20 minutes. We knew that we needed to be like this from the start, so I think that was just a quick improvement from us for today.
on scoring her first Arsenal goal...
It felt great. I mean, whoever can score, whoever can get it - that's what matters the most. Obviously, I'm happy to score my first goal here for the team but yeah, whatever I can do to help the team win. It's what I want.
on how this will push us for Sunday's match against West Ham...
I definitely think the win and scoring multiple goals is good confidence for us. We know West Ham is going to be hard, so it's just within every single game. We've been taking it one game at a time and it's the last stretch before the international break.
We want to finish on a positive note. Go away and then regroup and get back into it with league games and Champions League.
on tonight's supporters...
It means so much. I am always amazed by how loud our fans can be, whether it's 1,000, 50,000 or 60,000. Even tonight, you could see that with the fans that came. I know it's a late game on a Wednesday, so we really appreciate everyone who came out. We really felt like they were loud, so we appreciated it a lot.
