Emily Fox has won February’s Emirates Goal of the Month award with her stunner in the north London derby against Tottenham.
The American international received 50% of the vote to claim the prize, pushing Ethan Nwaneri into second spot who collected 30% for his strike against Manchester City, which is a contender for the Premier League's Goal of the Month award. Alessia Russo rounded off the top three, with 10% of supporters selecting her effort against Spurs in the same game.
But the highlight of that afternoon came when our flying full-back leathered the ball into the top left corner from long range to put the cherry on top of a dominant display in our 5-0 win in front of 56,000.
As Russo told Arsenal.com post-match: “If you don't shoot, you don't score, or you put it in the top bins like Foxy did with the perfect strike!”
