Our women’s team produced another unforgettable night at Emirates Stadium with a 4-0 win over Liverpool on Saturday.

Caitlin Foord opened the scoring in the 28th minute before forcing a Jasmine Matthews own goal just one minute later.

Mariona Caldentey made it 3-0 shortly before half-time, and Matthews scored another own goal as we went within five points of Chelsea at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League table.

There was more to cheer as Victoria Pelova made her long-awaited return from injury, and Katie McCabe was also presented with an award pre-match for her 250th club appearance by Emma Byrne and Clare Wheatley.
