Oleksandr Zinchenko scored the opening goal of the game as Ukraine drew 1-1 with England in Euro 2024 qualifying round on Saturday.
Running onto the ball and scoring from the centre of the penalty area, Oleksandr found the back of the net with Ukraine’s sole shot on target to earn a point for his side, who were eventually pegged back by Kyle Walker's goal.
However they held on to claim a point in Poland, in a game that saw fellow Gunners Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka played 90 and 86 minutes of the game for the Three Lions respectively. Eddie Nketiah is still waiting for his first England cap though, which could come against Scotland on Tuesday.
England remain top of Group C with 13 points, while Ukraine are second with seven.
Takehiro Tomiyasu played the full 90 minutes for Japan, who produced a convincing 4-1 win away to Germany in an international friendly on Saturday. Kai Havertz played 73 minutes for the hosts, who saw their head coach Hansi Flick sacked after the match after a run of form that has seen them lose four of their last five games.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Leandro Trossard played 79 minutes of Belgium’s 1-0 qualifiying win away to Azerbaijan to remain top of Group F, level on points with Austria but ahead on goal difference.

On Sunday, Jakob Kiwior played 90 minutes as Poland lost 2-0 away to Albania. With two wins from five in Group E, Poland are fourth in their Euro qualifying group but just two points shy of Moldova and Czechia in the hunt for a qualification berth.
Meanwhile Karl Hein was in goal as Estonia lost 5-0 at home to Sweden. Estonia are without a win in the group stage and sit fourth in Group F.
