Jonas Eidevall was "very happy" with both our performance and result against BK Hacken on Thursday night.
We caught up with our head coach after the full-time whistle and he shared the importance of qualifying for the UEFA Women's Champions League group stages.
Here is everything he had to say:
on the result...
I'm very happy. It's an important night for us. I think we showed a really good side to ourselves and with fantastic backing from our supporters, from minute one.
on showing how much European football means to us...
I think we did. We said before the game that we had a really strong belief that we were going to overturn this game. We didn't know if it was going to happen in the first half or in the second half. We reminded ourselves about the number of times we've been able to turn around results and sometimes we only needed a couple of minutes to even score two goals. And so we know we have that quality in the group, but of course, we prefer to score the goals earlier, like we did today.
on prolific goal scoring...
I'm so delighted for the players doing that well, because we know we have a lot of quality there with our forward line and really nice goals.
on our team performance...
We're a determined team. We work really hard both when we have the ball and when we don't have the ball, and all in all: a strong performance.
on taking this momentum further...
One part of the season starts now. This is what we wanted. We wanted to go into the group stage. We wanted to play in the league. We know it's going to be a lot of really challenging games, but it's going to be fun games as well, and we've built a squad to deal with it.
