In June, a group of young footballers who played in our US summer camps in partnership with Kaptiva Sports, embarked on an unforgettable football journey with Arsenal Football Development. For the first time, the players trained on the iconic Emirates Stadium pitch, kicking off a week filled with exceptional experiences.
A key component of this year's success was the Strong Young Gunners model, which emphasizes four pillars: Lifelong Learner, Most Efficient Mover, Champion Mentality, and Effective Team Player. By integrating these pillars, participants received a well-rounded football education, preparing them for success both on and off the pitch. Throughout the week, players developed their technical skills, tactical understanding, and mental resilience through targeted training sessions led by Arsenal’s Football Development coaches.
In addition to their training, the players enjoyed sightseeing around London, allowing them to immerse themselves in the city’s rich culture and history. On the final day, the group gathered in one of the Emirates Stadium’s premium lounges for a special presentation ceremony. Here, they celebrated their achievements with lunch, received their certificates, and honoured the Player of the Week award winners, marking the culmination of an incredible experience.
