With 70 per cent of the vote, Katie McCabe has been named the Women’s Player of the Month for October.
Katie was pivotal to our first two wins of the season, initially scoring the equalising goal in the 92nd minute of our 2-1 win against Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium.
She then took control of the following weekend’s trip to Bristol City, scoring both goals of our 2-1 win in style.
Her fine form continued for Republic of Ireland on international duty as she scored three and got two assists in a 5-1 win over Albania.
All in all, it’s a brilliant start to the campaign for our 2022/23 Player of the Season.
