Women’s Euro 2025 qualifiers

There are two matchdays to go in the qualifiers for the Women’s Euro 2025. These will take place on:

Saturday, July 13
Boreham Wood v Arsenal XI

An Arsenal XI will face Boreham Wood in a pre-season friendly at Mangata Pay UK Stadium.
Kick-off will be at 3pm and information on how supporters can attend the fixture will be published in due course.
Sunday, July 14
Euro 2024 and Copa America finals
Euro 2024 and the 2024 Copa America both come to an end on the same day, determining who will be crowned winners of the continental competitions.
The final of the Euros will be held at the Olympiastadion in Berlin at 8pm (BST), while Copa America showpiece takes place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
Tuesday, July 16
Enfield Town v Arsenal U21s
Our under-21s travel to the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium for a 7.45pm kick-off on Tuesday, July 16. Enfield were recently promoted to the National League South.
Wednesday, July 24
Football at the 2024 Summer Olympics begins

Taking place in France, the Olympics will once again see men’s and women’s tournaments take place from Wednesday, July 24 to Saturday, August 10.
Men’s teams are restricted to under-23 players with a maximum of three overage players allowed, while there are no age restrictions on women’s games.

Arsenal v Manchester United

Our 2024 USA Tour begins against Manchester United at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles to kick off our preparations for the 2024/25 season.
We faced each other on American soil last season, selling out the 80,000-capacity MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Our under-21s will also be in action on this day in a pre-season friendly against Rapid Vienna at X-Bionic Sphere in Slovakia.
Wednesday, July 31
Arsenal v Liverpool

Pre-season continues against Liverpool at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia at the end of the month.
This will be the first time we’ll have played each other in the US, providing Mikel and the squad with a strong test as they continue to build up to the Premier League season.
Our under-21s will also be in action on this day in a pre-season friendly against Bishops Stortford for a 7.45pm kick-off Dunmow Road.
Saturday, August 3
Lincoln City v Arsenal U21s
Our under-21s travel to Sincil Bank for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, August 16. The Imps finished just outside the play-off places last term and will provide an excellent test ahead of our EFL Trophy matches next term.
Wednesday, August 7
Arsenal v Bayer Leverkusen

Kicking off at 6pm BST, we will return to Emirates Stadium for a pre-season friendly against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Wednesday, August 7.
Saturday, August 10
Football at the 2024 Summer Olympics ends
The women’s final of the 2024 Summer Olympics will be held at the Parc des Princes in Paris on Saturday, August 10, one day after the men’s final at the same venue.
Our under-21s will also be in action on this day in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Sobha Realty Training Centre against Stoke City's under-21s, kicking off at 3pm.
Sunday, August 11
Arsenal v Olympique Lyonnais

We wrap up our pre-season preparations with the Emirates Cup Final, which will be against Olympique Lyonnais at 2pm BST on Sunday, August 11.
First staged in 2007, at the end of our inaugural season at Emirates Stadium, this will be the 13th edition of the Emirates Cup. Last August, we celebrated a penalty shootout victory over AS Monaco.
Saturday, August 17
Premier League 2024/25 season begins

Starting 90 days after the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, we will attack next season’s campaign looking to go one further than our previous two second-place finishes.
Our 2024/25 season begins at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers at 3pm BST on Saturday, August 17.
Sunday, August 18 - Sunday, August 25
Arsenal Women in America

Our women's team will play against Washington Spirit in a friendly match at the Audi Field Stadium on Sunday, August 18, kicking off at 7pm in the UK.
They will then take on last season's Barclays Women's Super League champions, Chelsea, at the same venue on Sunday, August 25 (9pm BST).
Friday, August 30
Premier League transfer windows closes
As August heads to a conclusion, Premier League and EFL clubs will have to make sure that all of their transfer business is completed by 11pm (BST).
From then, clubs won’t be able to recruit players until the winter transfer window opens on New Year’s Day.
Friday, September 13
WSL transfer window closes
For WSL clubs, the window closes at 11pm for domestic deals, and midnight for international deals.
Saturday, September 21
WSL 2024/25 season begins

After back-to-back third-place finishes in the Women’s Super League, we’ll be aiming to close the gap on Manchester City and Chelsea next season.
The start of the new season comes 42 days after the women's gold medal final of the Olympic Games campaign.
