Launching our collaboration with Women in Football

Today, our club has joined forces with Women in Football (WIF) as part of our commitment to continue building a diverse and inclusive club for our people.

The collaboration sees us join as WIF’s latest Corporate Member, which gives all our people access to training sessions, as well as places for our female members of staff to join the renowned Women in Football Leadership Course in partnership with Barclays.

Alongside the partnership, we have also announced the launch of a new women’s network internally to support us in driving inclusion in everything we do across the club.

This follows the re-establishment of a similar network for our Black and Minority Ethnic members of staff earlier this year and will be followed with networks for our LGBTQ+ community and disabled community in the coming months.

Hannah Mansour, Arsenal’s Director of ESG, said, “We’re proud of our gender-balanced executive team, and all the actions we’ve taken to support the growth of women’s football spanning four decades. But we know there is always more to do to support women inside and outside of our club to progress their careers in football. We want all our people to feel like they belong at Arsenal, and this is rooted in connection and inclusion.

“This is about taking collective responsibility for building a diverse and inclusive club – enabled by our education and training, career opportunities, and better data and insights. Our multi-year partnership with Women in Football, together with the launch of our new women’s network, are the next steps forward on this journey.”

Women in Football CEO Yvonne Harrison said: "As one of the top clubs in England, Arsenal have continually invested in their women’s and men’s teams to ensure they compete at the highest levels on the football pitch. Becoming a corporate member of Women in Football shows that the club is also fully committed to a gender-equal future for football off the pitch.

"We welcome Arsenal with open arms as they join our growing list of corporate members. We're excited to be working with them and their employees to make football a better place for women to work and excel."
