Albert Sambi Lokonga got his second assist of the season as Sevilla came from behind to draw 1-1 at home to Valencia on Saturday.
He played a simple pass to Adria Pedrosa, who rifled the ball into the back of the net from long range to equalise in the 93rd minute.
Sevilla are now 13th in La Liga with 23 points from 19 games.
It was also a positive weekend in the division for Karl Hein, as he kept his fifth clean sheet of the season in Real Valladolid’s 1-0 win at home to Real Betis.
In a game of few real chances, Karl faced just three shots on target and Valladolid scored with their only one. They’re now 19th in La Liga, two points from safety.
Over in Serie A, Lazio find themselves in fourth place, six points behind third-placed Atalanta, after Friday’s 1-1 draw at home to Como, which Nuno Tavares came on in the 60th minute of.
There was also a substitute appearance for Fabio Vieira, who came on in the 61st minute of FC Porto’s 1-0 defeat away to Sporting Lisbon in the semi-final of the Taca da Liga on Tuesday.
He then came on at half-time in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat away to Nacional. Porto are now second in Liga Portugal, one point behind Sporting.
In women’s football, Teyah Goldie played the first half of London City Lionesses’ 5-0 win away to Fulham in the fourth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup on the weekend.
They will find out their fifth round opposition in Monday evening’s draw.
