He then came on in the 85th minute of Sunday’s 1-1 draw at home to America-MG in the first leg of the semi-finals, with the second leg set to take place on Saturday.
Karl Hein had a disappointing Sunday as he played 90 minutes of Real Valladolid’s 4-0 defeat at home to Sevilla to remain bottom of La Liga with 15 points.
In England, Brian Okonkwo played 90 minutes of Hitchin Town’s 2-1 defeat away to Lowestoft Town on Saturday.
They’re now 21st in the Southern League Premier Division Central, three points behind Lowestoft.
In women’s football, it was a good weekend for Teyah Goldie, who played 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet in London City Lionessses’ 2-0 win at home to Sunderland on Sunday.
Lionesses are now just one point behind Women’s Championship leaders Birmingham City and with a game in hand.
Elsewhere in the division, Vivienne Lia and Laila Harbert both played 90 minutes of Southampton’s 0-0 draw away to Bristol City.
Saints were under the cosh with just two shots to Bristol’s 17, but Southampton did have more of the ball. They’re now eighth in the Championship on 17 points.
Madison Earl got 71 minutes in Sheffield United’s 1-0 defeat away to Birmingham City on Sunday.
The Blades are second from bottom in the Championship with six points from 14 games.
