Zane Monlouis has joined MLS side Toronto FC in a permanent transfer.
The 21-year-old joined our academy in May 2012 at the age of eight and progressed through Hale End before signing his first professional contract in October 2020.
Zane spent some time on loan in League One with Reading to gain experience on a short-term deal in February 2024. The England youth international, who is also eligible to represent Jamaica, has made 99 appearances for our academy at under-18 and under-21 levels.
The centre-back has already made 15 appearances in all competitions this season for our under-21s and was named as an unused substitute for the first-team in our Champions League fixtures against Shakhtar Donetsk and Monaco.
We thank Zane for his contribution to the club during his time with us and wish him all the best for his next chapter with Toronto FC.
The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
