Arsenal legend Liam Brady helped to launch Arsenal in the Community’s new Walking Football programme this weekend at the Arsenal Hub. He took part in a game, chatted with participants and posed for pictures.
Walking Football takes the basic elements of a football match and makes it more accessible to older players by slowing the game down.
Arsenal in the Community’s programme will see players aged 50 and over come together for games of football with the focus on having fun and meeting people.
Sessions will be held at the Arsenal Hub (56 Benwell Road, N7 7BA) on the following dates:
Sunday 29th November: 11.00 – 13.00
Sunday 6th December: 10.00 – 11.00
