Martin Odegaard has been nominated for this week’s UEFA Champions League Player of the Week award.
Our captain netted a brace in Tuesday night’s 7-1 win away to PSV Eindhoven. He was in the right place at the right time to benefit from Ethan Nwaneri’s cross for our fourth goal, and Martin then struck past Walter Daniel Benitez for our sixth.
He wasn’t done pulling the strings though, putting the ball on a plate for Riccardo Calafiori to pick out the bottom left corner for seven.
Martin is going up against Alisson Becker (Liverpool), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) and Rodrygo (Real Madrid).
