Academy goalkeeper Alexei Rojas has been included in Colombia’s squad for the Under-20 World Cup later this month.
The 17-year-old will have to opportunity to represent his nation during the competition in Argentina, having made nine appearances for our under-18 side this campaign.
Earlier this year saw Alexei named in Colombia’s squad for U20 South American Championship, having earnt his first cap at this level back in December in a friendly against Peru. He has also previously represented England and Russia in international youth football.
Colombia kick off their campaign on May 21 against Israel, and three days after that they’re in action again when they take on Japan. Their group stage wraps up with a meeting with Senegal on May 27, as they aim to add to win the trophy for the first time.
