The news that Bukayo Saka has signed a new contract will be cause for celebration for all Gooners, meaning we'll get to watch our Hale End graduate continue to blossom in our colours.
Bukayo has already given us many magical moments since making his debut for the club back in November 2018, and there are sure to be many more to come now he has pledged his future the club.
We've gone into the archive to dig out his 10 best Gunners goals so far, and you can take a look at this collection of Saka crackers:
v Eintracht Frankfurt
September 19, 2019
We started our 2019/20 Europa League group in a similar way to Bukayo opening his goalscoring account with us - in style. Leading 1-0 in Germany, Bukayo doubled our lead in the 85th minute when he received possession 25 yards from goal, and picked out the bottom corner to help us on our way to victory.
v Standard Liege
December 12, 2019
Another great goal in Europe. After a snappy one-two with fellow youngster Gabriel Martinelli on the edge of the box, Bukayo unleashed a low, curled effort with his right foot and watched as the ball nestled into the far corner to complete a comeback in Belgium that helped us go on to win the group.
v Wolverhampton Wanderers
July 4, 2020
Still only a teenager, Bukayo made the most of a deflected Kieran Tierney cross to manoeuvre his body and hook the ball out of Rui Patricio’s reach to register his first Premier League goal in a 2-0 win at Molineux Stadium.
v Chelsea
December 26, 2020
Was it a cross? Was it a shot? Bukayo insists he was aiming for the target, and we agree! This match saw Mikel Arteta turn to his youngsters for a spark and it worked as we beat the Blues 3-1 with two Hale End graduates - Bukayo and Emile Smith Rowe - leading the line in what was a much-needed festive victory.
v West Bromwich Albion
January 2, 2021
We were firing on all cylinders in blizzard conditions at The Hawthorns when Bukayo combined excellently with Smith Rowe and Alexandre Lacazette before tapping home to finish off a typical, scintillating team move.
v Tottenham Hotspur
September 26, 2021
Shortly after setting up Smith Rowe for the opener in a dominant north London derby display, Saka made it three in 34 minutes when the ball stuck to his feet like glue as he wriggled past England colleagues Harry Kane and Eric Dier in the box before slotting past Hugo Lloris - and capped the move off with a celebration to match the finish!
v Manchester City
January 1, 2022
We put on a display against the champions that would be a sign of things to come under Arteta. Ultimately, our 10 men lost out to a last-minute goal, but nothing can take away Bukayo’s opener. He split open the City defence as he guided Tierney’s cross into the bottom corner following a great move, lifting the roof off Emirates Stadium.
vs Leeds United
October 16, 2022
Not only was this goal full of quality, but it has proved to be a crucial goal in our Premier League title bid. A scrappy, hard-fought 1-0 win was decided by a moment of magic from Bukayo, who burst into the box before firing a shot into the roof of the net from the tightest of angles - a typical finish from our superstar.
v Manchester United
January 22, 2023
After falling behind to an in-form United, Eddie Nketiah put us back on level terms before Bukayo fired us ahead out of nowhere, catching David De Gea off guard as he fizzed a pinpoint 25-yard strike across the face of goal and into the bottom corner for one of our goals of the season.
vs Everton
March 1, 2023
So often deadly in these areas, Bukayo opened the scoring with a neat turn, a burst of pace and another tight-angled finish into the roof of the net to kickstart a 4-0 success. The win bolstered our title challenge in the second half of the season and was the fourth of seven wins in a row.
