Sead - Why I’m backing McGregor against Mayweather

It’s been labelled ‘The Money Fight’ and Sead Kolasinac is looking forward to Conor McGregor’s encounter against Floyd Mayweather - even if he won’t be able to watch it live.

The bout is set to begin in the early hours of Sunday, the day we face Liverpool at Anfield, and Kolasinac will wake up that morning hoping for news of a McGregor victory.

“I hope Conor McGregor wins because I really enjoy watching his fights in the UFC and it’s new to see someone like that go from UFC to boxing,” he said.

“I like his personality as well so I am on his side. It is tough for him and Floyd Mayweather will make it very difficult but in boxing, all is possible.

“I’d love to watch it but I think because of the time difference in the USA, it makes it quite tricky. I think it’ll probably be too late for me because I have got a game on Sunday so to stay up all night on Saturday is probably not the best idea - but I’ll definitely be watching a replay of it after the game.”
