Renee Slegers has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League Manager of the Month award for February.
Our head coach led us to two wins from two during the month - a dramatic 4-3 win away to Manchester City and a dominant 5-0 win at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
She got the team off to a flying start with two goals in the first eight minutes against City and spoke about the belief and resilience we showed in that game.
For this month’s award, Renee is up against Sonia Bompastor (Chelsea) and Marc Skinner (Manchester United).
