Two of our players faced off for the first time at the 2022 World Cup as Matt Turner's USA drew 0-0 with England.
Our shot-stopper managed to keep a clean sheet against the Three Lions at the Al Bayt Stadium, with Bukayo Saka playing 78 minutes of the contest.
In an encounter lacking in goalmouth action, Christian Pulisic came closest when he rattled the crossbar with a thumping effort in the first half, while Turner produced a decent stop to deny Mason Mount in the second 45.
The result means England edge closer to the knockout stages as group leaders with four points from their opening two games, while the US now have two draws for their efforts so far.
That means everything is still to play for in Group B, after Wales lost 2-0 to Iran earlier on Friday. England need to just avoid defeat against the Welsh on Tuesday, November 29 to progress from the group, while America know a win against Iran at the same time is imperative for them to do the same.
