Our under-18s will look to continue their impressive run of form as we host Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, February 22, with kick-off at Sobha Realty Training Centre set for 12pm (UK time).
We are on our best run of the season, having won four consecutive matches. Last time out, Dan Casey starred with a hat-trick in a commanding 5-2 victory over Southampton.
The Opposition
Brighton sit level with us on 19 points in the Under-18s Premier League South, separated only by goal difference. However, the Seagulls have played three more matches (15) compared to our 12 and were eliminated from the FA Youth Cup in the Third Round by Newcastle United.
Recent form hasn’t been in their favor, with three defeats in their last four outings. However, Joe Belmont remains a key threat, scoring six goals in just eight appearances.
Previous Meeting
Our last clash with Brighton was a thrilling contest. After falling 2-0 behind, Andre Harriman-Annous’ hat-trick inspired a remarkable comeback to put us 3-2 ahead in the second half. However, a late strike from Tyler Silsby ensured the Seagulls salvaged a draw.
