Adam Birchall’s under-18s will look to continue their fine run of form against Norwich City at Sobha Realty Training Centre on Saturday, April 12. Kick-off in north London is scheduled for 12pm (UK time).
Our young Gunners have won four games in a row, scoring 14 goals on their winning run. Five of those came against Leicester City last time out in what was our second high-scoring victory over the Foxes in a matter of weeks.
The Opposition
Norwich were in form when we visited The Nest earlier in the season, but since beating us in October, the Canaries have just three wins from their 16 games. This slip in form has dropped the Yellows down to 12th in the U18s Premier League South table, with 17 points from 19 games.
A leaky defence has been the main issue for Norwich, with 49 goals conceded this season. That being said, Saturday’s opponents are a threat at the other end of the pitch, especially through top scorer Finn Corke. The striker scored his ninth and 10th goals of the season in a 4-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion two weeks ago.
