Our under-18s welcome Reading to Sobha Realty Training Centre on Saturday, April 25 as we continue to push for the U18 Premier League South title. Kick-off in north London is scheduled for 12pm (UK time).
Adam Birchall’s side are in fantastic form, winning six games in a row to put us firmly in the title race.
Last time out, late goals from Andre Harriman-Annous and Cam’ron Ismail secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Crystal Palace, putting us just two points off top spot.
The Opposition
Reading sit eighth in the U18 Premier League South, with eight wins, five draws and eight defeats from their 21 league games. One of those victories came against us back in November, when a late goal from Verrell George secured a 1-0 victory for our opponents.
Alongside their league matches this season, the young Royals have competed in the U18 Premier League Cup. Having beaten Liverpool and Everton in the knockout stages, Reading lost 2-1 to West Ham United in Tuesday’s final.
Before their cup final defeat, Saturday’s opponents had lost just once in 11 matches.
