Adam Birchall’s under-18s will look to continue their good form this weekend with a trip to face Leicester City at the LCFC Training Ground on Saturday, April 5. Kick-off is scheduled for 11.30am (UK time).
Our under-18s have won each of their last three games, including a 4-3 success over the Foxes in North London last month.
More recently, goals from Louis Zecevic-John and Max Dowman saw us come from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 in North London.
The Opposition
Like ourselves, Leicester have had one game since our meeting at the Sobha Realty Training Centre, also against Fulham. Having been 2-0 up, the Foxes conceded two late goals to draw 2-2 at Motspur Park.
The result means that the East Midlands side have 23 points from their 20 league matches this season.
Incredibly, Leicester’s 20 matches this season have produced a total of 98 goals, a standout number even in a division as high-scoring as the U18 Premier League South.
Lorenz Hutchinson continues to be the main danger man for his side, netting seven goals in his last six games, including one against us three weeks ago.
