Our under-21s make the short trip to South London to take on Crystal Palace in Premier League 2 on Monday, March 3. The match will take place at Sutton United’s VBS Community Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm (UK time).
We have got off to a good start in 2025, winning three of our four matches so far, including a dominant 4-1 success over Newcastle United at Meadow Park last Friday. Seb Ferdinand, Khayon Edwards, Osman Kamara and Salah Oulad M’Hand all found the net in a convincing victory over the Magpies.
The Opposition
Crystal Palace are three points ahead of us in Premier League 2, with 28 points to our 25, but have played a game more.
The Eagles had a difficult start to 2025, winning just one of their first four games this calendar year, but turned a corner in February by winning all three of their matches last month.
As many of our league opponents have this season, Palace competed in the Premier League International Cup, where they managed a win and a draw from their four group stage matches.
In the first half of the season, striker Jemiah Umolu impressed for the South London side, but the forward has since joined Port Vale on loan. Ademola Ola-Adebomi has six goals in six appearances in Premier League 2 since replacing Umolu up front.
