Our under-21s begin 2025 campaign with an exciting London derby, travelling across the capital to face Fulham on Saturday, January 18. Kick-off at Motspur Park is set for 12pm (UK time).
Currently sitting 10th in the table with 16 points, we’ll be looking to start the new year positively and secure our first league win of 2025.
In our last league outing in December, we suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Sunderland at Meadow Park.
The Opposition: Fulham
Fulham have had a very strong start to the season, winning nine and losing just two of their first 11 fixtures which sees them lie in second place with 27 points.
However, in the Cottagers' last league, they suffered a shock 5-0 defeat away to Southampton. Interestingly in Fulham’s only other defeat of the season, they were thrashed 6-0 at home to Chelsea, but, outside of those two games they have been perfect, winning every league game. They are also faring well in the Premier League International Cup, sitting atop Group C.
Fulham’s top scorer Callum Osmand who has seven goals and four assists in 11 league games this season will miss the game through suspension after he was sent off in their loss to Southampton.
