Vote for our December women’s Player of the Month

Voting is now open for our Women’s Player of the Month for December, with four players to choose from.

We played three games in the final month of 2023, winning 4-1 at home to Chelsea in the Barclays Women’s Super League before beating Tottenham Hotspur on penalties after a 3-3 draw in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup. Spurs then beat us 1-0 in the league prior to Christmas.

But which Gunner deserves to be crowned our Player of the Month? You can help select the winner from these four options:

Alessia Russo

Alessia Russo scored twice in our 4-1 win at home to Chelsea, making it 3-1 before half-time with a surging run through on goal and tidy finish into the far corner.

She put the result beyond doubt from the penalty spot in the second half for Chelsea’s only defeat of the season so far.

Alessia also scored a penalty in our shootout against Spurs.

Lotte Wubben-Moy

Having played six progressive passes against Chelsea, Lotte Wubben-Moy also carried the ball forward more times than any other Arsenal player in the game (38).

"Absolute rock at the back" is how Alessia described Lotte after that game!

Beth Mead

Beth Mead showed excellent footwork and composure to score the opening goal of the game in our win against Chelsea this month.

She also came off the bench to score in the penalty shootout against Spurs.

Steph Catley

Assisting Amanda Ilestedt with a precise corner kick in our win against Chelsea, Steph Catley also scored in the penalty shootout against Tottenham.
