Our young Gunners will kick off their 2024/25 U18 Premier League campaign when they make the short trip to east London to face West Ham United on Saturday, August 16, at Little Heath. The action begins at 11am (UK).
As Jack Wilshere embarks on his third season at the helm, we're eager to start with a statement, building on last year's strong third-place finish. Our sights are set on continued progress, development, and success.
This match will also mark the competitive debut for many of our 11 new scholars, who recently signed their scholarship agreements.
Opponent Spotlight
The Hammers finished last season in second place in the U18 Premier League South, just two points ahead of us. Their campaign included 16 wins, seven losses, and one draw.
One of the highlights of their pre-season was a thrilling 4-3 victory over Rangers U18s. However, when we last faced West Ham, we claimed all three points in emphatic fashion with a dominant 8-1 win.
