arsenal u21

Mehmet Ali's side will aim to continue their strong start to the season as they host Aston Villa on Friday, August 30, in Premier League 2 action. Kick-off is scheduled for 7pm (UK time) at the Mangata Pay UK Stadium in Borehamwood.

We head into this fixture with great momentum, having won our first two league matches. Following a 4-2 victory over Manchester United and a commanding 3-1 win against Wolves, our confidence is high as we prepare to take on Villa.

Opposition focus

Aston Villa have also enjoyed a solid start to the season, collecting four points from their first two matches. They began their campaign with a 3-1 victory over Derby County, followed by a 1-1 draw away at Leeds United.

Last season in Premier League 2, Villa finished 16th with 25 points, recording seven wins, four draws, and nine losses. They clinched the final spot in the play-offs but were eliminated in the round of 16 after a 4-3 extra-time defeat to eventual champions Tottenham Hotspur.
