Bukayo Saka and David Raya have both been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for August.
The duo’s fine starts to the season have been recognised by the division as they are included on an eight-man shortlist for the prize - and your votes can help them win!
David has been nominated after keeping two clean sheets already as he aims to retain his Golden Glove, but only thanks to a pair of world-class saves to deny Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins to stake his claim for the Save of the Season prize.
Bukayo meanwhile has also shown his sharpness, becoming only the second Gunner ever to notch an assist in each of his first three Premier League games by setting up Kai Havertz against Wolves and Brighton, as well as Thomas Partey at Villa Park.
He also got on the scoresheet for the first time when he netted in trademark fashion against Wolves, cutting inside from the right and flashing a shot past Jose Sa.
His four goal involvements put him level with Chelsea’s Cole Palmer who is also on the shortlist, as is Erling Haaland who had already blasted in seven goals in his opening three matches for Manchester City, including two hat-tricks.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford, new Aston Villa signing Andre Onana and former Gunner Danny Welbeck make up the remainder of the shortlist.
The winner will be decided by a combination of supporter votes and the views of a panel of experts, and you can vote for your winner now until midday on Monday, September 9.
