Arsenal Diary: What’s in store this week

It’s the final week of games before Christmas!

Our men’s, women’s and under-21s teams are all set to be in action before next week’s festivities.

Here’s what to expect on Arsenal.com and the official app over the next seven days.

MONDAY

12.30pm - Women’s League Cup draw

Entering the Women’s League Cup at the quarter-final stage, we will find out who the opponent will be for our first match in the competition that we’re the current holders of.

The draw will be broadcast live on the Barclays Women’s Super League YouTube channel and we’re ball number six.

7pm - Arsenal U21s v Sunderland

Premier League 2 football returns to Mangata Pay UK Stadium with the visit of Sunderland on Monday night.

Mehmet Ali’s young Gunners have 16 points from their first nine games in the division, while Sunderland are on 13. Follow @ArsenalAcademy on X for updates.

TUESDAY

1.30pm - Mikel Arteta press conference

Arteta press conference

Mikel Arteta will be back in front of the media at Sobha Realty Training Centre to preview the first of two games against Crystal Palace this week.

Our manager will share the latest team news following the weekend’s game against Everton and more.

2.30pm - Renee Slegers press conference

Renee Slegers at the pre-Juventus press conference

Renee Slegers will also speak to the press to look ahead to the UEFA Women’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

WEDNESDAY

7.30pm - Arsenal v Crystal Palace

Our Carabao Cup campaign continues at home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night as we look to book a place in the semi-finals of the competition.

We reached this stage following convincing wins over Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End, while Palace have beaten Norwich City, Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa.

8pm - Arsenal Women v Bayern Munich

With both teams already through to the knockout stages, Wednesday’s UEFA Women’s Champions League showdown at Meadow Park is all about the battle for the top spot in Group C.

We’re second in the group ahead of the game with 12 points from five matches, while Bayern are first on 13 points.

FRIDAY

Mikel Arteta will address the media for his second pre-Crystal Palace press conference of the week at Sobha Realty Training Centre.

SATURDAY

5.30pm - Crystal Palace v Arsenal

We’re back in Premier League action with a trip to Selhurst Park this Saturday evening. The match will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK and supporters can tune into Live From N5 for audio commentary on Arsenal.com or the official app.
