For the first time ever, our club will host a pitchside DJ set at Emirates Stadium ahead of Arsenal Women's Barclays Women's Super League fixture against Liverpool on March 22.
LGBTQ+ DJ, Jordss, will take to the decks for a special set at 4.45pm before our Gunners kick-off against the Reds in N5 (KO: 5.30pm).
North London born and bred, Jordss runs her own radio show Black Joy Archives, and is the founder of Girls Can't DJ - an inclusive community of women and non-binary DJs created to eliminate gender imbalance across line-ups, by encouraging people to learn how to DJ and promoting existing talent.
A lifelong Gooner, Jordss outlined her pride in the club, saying: “DJing and Arsenal are my two loves, so it's like both of my worlds are combining. Nothing can top this!
"When I perform, my main goal is always to make people connect with the music. I want high energy. If the fans have high energy, the players will feed off that energy on the pitch.
"This club continues to push boundaries on and off the pitch, and it makes me so proud to be a Gooner. I think when people find a space where they can just be themselves, that's when everyone is at their best. What this club does so well, and has done for as long as I can remember, is ensure that everyone really is welcome."
