April 19 is Perry Groves' birthday.
George Graham's first signing as Arsenal manager in 1986 became a cult hero at Highbury after setting up the winner in the 1987 League Cup final at Wembley.
Groves came on as a substitute in that 2-1 win over favourites Liverpool and beat Gary Gillespie before squaring for Charlie Nicholas to score via a deflection.
Groves was also part of the Arsenal squad that won the league title in 1989 and 1991. In total he made 203 appearances for the Club, scoring 28 goals.
