Every month our Club photographers conduct shoots for the Arsenal magazine - an opportunity to create some memorable images from behind the scenes.
We asked Stuart MacFarlane and David Price to choose their favourite magazine pictures from last season. Scroll down to see what they picked and read the story behind each shot.
Look out for part two of this feature on Thursday.
Theo Walcott, Emirates Stadium, February 2012
Stuart says: "I did the feature straight after the home match against Stoke in one of the tiny interview rooms at the stadium. A bit of mud on the shorts and a scratch on Theo’s face makes the picture."
Martin Angha, Arsenal station, October 2012
David says: "I like this picture as it’s set in a place that most Arsenal fans know but where you don’t really expect to see a player. I had the idea to take some pictures of Martin here after I heard that he travelled home from his first-team debut against Coventry on the Tube with his mother. Martin has now moved on to Nuremburg and I wish him all the best."
Kieran Gibbs, Arsenal training ground, May 2013
Stuart says: "This was shot in one of the changing rooms at the youth end of the building. Very simple lighting, one light on Kieran’s face and a spotlight on the shirt."
Jack Wilshere, Arsenal training ground, December 2012
Stuart says: "We use the indoor hall at the training ground quite a bit and the lights and roof really make this picture. Jack’s really good but he just wanted to smash the ball around the hall!"
Nico Yennaris, Lake Como, March 2013
David says: "I spotted this hands sculpture on the way to our NextGen semi-final against Chelsea in Lake Como. I thought it would be an interesting shot but I didn’t think I’d be able to get a player over to them. Fortunately Nico (and Terry Burton) were happy to walk back to the hotel after the third-place match later that weekend. We got to the hands and there were other tourists having pictures on or around them. We just waited our turn. It's just a unique picture with some lovely sunlight in it."
