Arsenal Football Club has launched a new account on Weixin.
The Chinese social media platform, also known as WeChat, is the fifth most popular smartphone app in the world and boasts more than 260m users every month.
Its functions include text and voice messaging, photo/video sharing and location-based tools.
Arsenal’s Weixin fans will enjoy exclusive Chinese language content from our in-house reporter, including daily news, updates, real-time scores, bite-size videos and VIP promotions.
We’ll also set up specific opportunities where users can ask questions to Arsenal players using Weixin’s voice messaging system.
