Glen Kamara has joined Southend United on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old defensive midfielder made his debut for the first team in November 2015 in Arsenal’s League Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday.
Kamara spent a year at Southend before joining Arsenal in 2012, where he progressed through the Arsenal Academy.
The Finnish international has represented his country at Under-17, 18, 19 and 21 level, and was rewarded with his first senior international call-up in June 2015 for a friendly match against Estonia.
Everyone at Arsenal wishes Glen well at Southend, where he will look to gain additional senior experience.
