Calum Chambers says Alexis has been offering him advice in training - which paid off as the defender scored a superb goal against Burnley.
The 21-year-old struck a sublime curling effort into the top corner during Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round victory for just the second goal of his career.
"I thought we ground out the result. I thought at times we played well but there are things we need to improve on"
Chambers’ first was also against the Clarets in 2014 and the 21-year-old said he had a funny feeling he would be on target again against the Championship side.
“My only two goals have come against Burnley,” he told Arsenal Player. “I actually thought about it yesterday! I thought I might sneak a goal and I did.
“It is one of those ones which you do on the training ground. It just came to me and I thought I’d give it a go. It went into the side netting so it was pretty good.
“I watch [Alexis] in training and took a bit of advice and had a go at it. It went in so it was good.
"I thought we ground out the result. I thought at times we played well but there are things we need to improve on. It is a good result and we are through to the next round.”
