Pedro Martinez Losa says Arsenal Ladies proved last season that they know how to beat Manchester City.
The Gunners beat their rivals once in last term’s Women’s Super League, and claimed a 1-0 victory against them in the Continental Cup quarter-finals.
"We are taking one game at a time but the three points are not more important because it is against Man City"
Losa’s side travel to the Manchester Regional Arena on Monday for an early test of their title credentials, and the manager is in a confident mood.
“It is too early to say in the season [to talk about the title],” he told Arsenal.com.
“We beat them last season in the Women’s Super League and we beat them in the Continental Cup. We know we can do it again. I think the league is decided in every game.
“We went to Bristol City [last year] and drew 1-1 and those two points at the end of the season were the difference.
"We are taking one game at a time but the three points are not more important because it is against Man City, but because they can be the difference at the end.”
