Steve Gatting says Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky will reap the rewards of their spell with the under-21s.
The two midfielders featured during Thursday afternoon's 3-1 defeat at Swansea City as they continue their recovery from injuries.
"Tomas has the same agenda as Jack, to get fit for the Euros"
Wilshere claimed an assist while Rosicky came close to winning a penalty, and Gatting says the pair have taken another step closer to a return to first-team action.
“That is their second game back for us, and you can see bit by by that they are looking sharper and Jack did a full 90 minutes,” he told Arsenal Player. “He found it tough at the end but he needs to push himself and that will only do him good for the future.
“Jack might play on Monday and do another 90 minutes, and everything he does now will see him get stronger and stronger. Then the boss will make the decision if he will play in the first team or not.
“Tomas has the same agenda as Jack, to get fit for the Euros. He gives us that quality and experience along with Jack - the quality he gives us on the ball is great for the team.”
